BASIC INFORMATION AND LOCATION
Čiovo is an island in central Dalmatia. Its area is 28.8 km² and it has about 6,000 inhabitants. It stretches in an east-west direction and closes the Bay of Kaštela. The highest peak of the island is Rudina, 209 m high, and the whole island is quite hilly. On the northernmost part of the area is the southern part of the city of Trogir with the shipyard. The settlements on Čiovo are Arbanija and Slatine in the northeast, Žedno in the interior and Okrug Gornji and Donji in the west. Ciovo is 35 kilometers from Split. To get from the mainland to the island, you need to cross two bridges.

The island is known for its Mediterranean climate, rich vegetation, an archipelago of picturesque islets, bays and beaches. Riviera Okrug is 4 km from the center of Trogir and is the most popular tourist destination in the area of Trogir. Arbanija and Slatine are slightly smaller tourist resorts.
