The archipelago of Elafiti is situated close to the town Dubrovnik. It is 25 km long and it consists of the islands Daksa, Koločep, Sveti Andrija, Lopud, Ruda, Šipan, Mišnjak, Jakljan, Kosmeč, Goleč, Crkvine, Tajan i Olipa (westernmost island) plus cliffs. Some in Elafiti also include Lokrum and Mljet. Elafiti were at their peak in the Middle Ages, when the wealthy Dubrovnik built their summer homes on this islands. In addition to numerous attractions, the Elafiti islands are enriched with a beautiful Mediterranean flora and fauna, untouched nature and attractive beaches.
